wonder if they'll be room for bob beckel later. >> steve: meanwhile, 23 minutes before the top of the hour. some headlines for you. authorities are now investigating whether boston bomber tamerlan tsarnaev killed before. they want to know if he was part of a two-man murder team perhaps that slit the throats of a close friend of his and two others back in 2011. he was very close to one of the victims. they trained together at the gym. there is a report the two were hanging out the day before the murders. friends also found it odd tamerlan did not go to his friend's funeral. the murders reportedly happened on the 10th anniversary of the september 11 attack. >> gretchen: they are a devout christian family who came here from germany. they were seeking asylum from a law in that country that prohibits home schooling. in a few hours, an appeals court will hear arguments as they fight deportation. the family came here in 2006. but the justice department reversed a judge's ruling that home schooling was grounds to seek citizenship here. michael ferris will argue on behalf of the family
